The Good, The Bad and The Ugly Truth

So I went to the Dr. today and was checked, poked for blood and told my worst nightmare... I was being checked and of course, I asked how I was coming along, and he told me "Head's Down, and no dialation, but it doesn't matter, you're having a CSection anyway." WHAT!?! This whole pregnancy I have asked him multiple times if it were possible to deliver naturally even after my c/s with my first child. "Oh, no worries, we can do naturally." He even pulled my surgery report to make SURE I could have her naturally....I'm a little upset to be told so late in the game that I can't have what I anticipated all along, but be that as it may, I have a date. Our little girl, pending not coming earlier, will be delivered by Caesarean Section on October 8, 2008. I only ask for all of your prayers during this time for the doctors, Sarah and I. And that everything goes as the Lord would have it.

whats been going on..

Whats been going on since our last post....

Well, I guess everything has been going good. Just really getting everything ready for the baby and so forth.
We had Sarahs' baby shower on the 13th and we were very blessed from so many of our friends and family from church and some of my closest co-workers. Let's just say that Sarah will not have to go without as far as clothes!! There was still several things on our registries that we didn't get, but no worries, God will provide in HIS time. However, I would like to thank anyone that came to the shower, that reads this,
Thank you, Thank you, Thank you for all the support, love and generosity that you've shown.
Caleb: Has COMPLETELY used up his patience in waiting for his baby sister...READY Set, "Sarah, hurry up and COME OUT!" He screams at my belly. Currently, he's going through a major growth spurt and eating ALL The time. Yet, only wanting to snack, if that makes sense. Has COMPLETELY gone to big boy underwear during the day and only in Overnight Pull-ups during the night...
Yay! Way to go big boy!
Robert: He's been working like crazy. His job has caused him to work hours that Caleb and I are not quite used to. So, dinners have been like shooting at the hip for the last 2 weeks or so. Caleb has been missing his dad alot too. We all will be glad when he gets back to his normal routine hours. However, Caleb and Robert have also been able to enjoy a little daddy and me time these past couple of months before Sarah arrives too. Fishing is something that Robert has always loved to do and luckily Caleb has been just as excited and ready to learn! Whether snagging a perch on the Concho Rivers' edge this summer or just relaxing at the state park, they have really been able to do "boy stuff" and I'm so glad! Thanks honey, for making memories for our son
Me and Sarah: Well, I guess I can say that I'm to my breaking point too...with patience on waiting for my little girl that is! Although, this pregnancy seems to have gone by lightning fast, I KNEW that the last 4 weeks would just creep by. That's to be expected when/if there is anything that you are anxiously awaiting to happen. I just am trying to be still and know, trying to trust in my Lord to give me strength in overcoming my impatience. This week I go on Maternity Leave (wednesday) and I think it was a good decision, because I'll be able to get alot of the last minute things done that I DIDN'T get done with Caleb. I go to the Dr. on Wed as well and will know more about being dialated, L&D, etc.
So, Considering the length of this post, I think I'll wait to post anymore until Wed. Have a great week everyone!

Last night we were relaxing at home, when all of a sudden Robert mentioned that we ought to look outside. Before I could he whisked up Caleb and went to sit on the front porch. When I finally caught up with them, I walked outside to a bunch of people that lined the street. What was going on? Roberts former high school was having their Homecoming Parade right outside our door. Last night was the Pep Rally for the game that happens tonight.

Caleb has NEVER seen a parade in person, so he was elated to see all the people so close outside our front door. He loved the FireTruck, our Local Baseball Mascot Casey, and the Tractors that held and transported the Homecoming Queens and Duchess'.(Not Pictured)
