Counting down for Santa's arrival and the celebration of Jesus Birthday! :) The Excitement is almost too much!

Labor Day weekend, Sarahs School on fire.

Last weekend seemed to be coming up quickly and we really needed the break from school and work. Just to relax do nothing and REST..I was worn out. So was Robert. And yes the kids were SUPER TIRED.

But before we could begin out "do nothing" weekend, Sarah had to outshine the wonderfulness of FRIDAY by having a fire at her school, IN her classrooms bathroom.

I got a call but they didnt leave a voicemail, which upset me. 
I called them back, and they said I needed to come get Sarah, because the school had a fire...WHAT?!? She said it so nonchalantly I couldn't believe what I had just heard. I started panicking and she told me to not hurry and take my time, but I needed to come get her as soon as possible. Well OF COURSE I would hurry, drop everything and rush right over...I get there, fire trucks gone, doors wide open, and moms, dads, and teachers everywhere trying to direct frazzled kids. To me it smelt like a big block party barbecue that decided to relocate inside, no lights, or a/c on. I took Sarah back with me to school where Robert met me to keep her for 2 more hours till I got off. Phew, what a Friday afternoon we all had!

Here they all are "resting" last weekend. Worn out from a busy, crazy Friday. :)

The "still small Voice" of God

  

Earlier this evening I had a couple of kiddos fighting over who loved mama more. Then just as I was rocking Sarah before bed, Caleb comes in & sits at my feet to listen to the song that I was singing her. :) Its times like these, I know why God put me here. I'm so very blessed to have such amazing children. Who I know will do even more Amazing things, because they Love the Lord, just as much as their mommy and daddy do.

Cooler days

Its been so nice the last few days, and the kids have been dying to go play. Who can argue with the beauty and comfortable weather that God has blessed us with?!

After a very LONG wait, we've finally gotten a sneak peak into our family pictures that we took back in April. Laura Riggs was nice enough to take some time out of her busy schedule and go out with us one Saturday, and get some nice shots of the kids, Rob and I.

Together Finally

Iv'e been trying for SOoooo long to get my two beautiful children to take a picture together. Not only together, but to also get them to smile at the same time.

Sarah has started saying cheese when you take out the camera, so I took the opportunity to at least TRY!

New Things, and One Crazy Morning

What a crazy week. From getting a new truck to almost losing the new truck. We can say that its been very exciting on Short St.

Yes, after 4 1/2 years Rob was able to get a truck of his own. He was so excited and the kids and I were excited for him! Wed. we met the guy that was selling it and was able to come home with this:

No Payments! Nothing Owed! Praise The Lord, What a Blessing!

Then On Thursday, early morning before school/work. We were getting everyone ready and I heard a crash outside. We came out to find our mailbox like this:

And the guy didn't stop. He kept going and it sure did tear up his SUV. He even moved the rock beside the mailbox a good 2 feet. We had Robs new truck parked in the drive and the driver barely missed it when he was trying to flee. Interesting day to say the least!

Better days came today, when we walked outside to find NO rain but sunshine! God is soo Good.:)

Happy Weekend!

Since moving into our new neighborhood, we have had the greatest opportunity to start taking walks as a family. With not having so much traffic to worry about, we all just love our walks! We also were simply tickled after Christmas, because the kids got a wagon from their Aunt B for their present. It's a two seater with cup holders, storage and seat belts. They get so excited to ride in it or even just sit in it while it is stored in the laundry room.

Today was the first time we were able to take a walk in a while. The weather was really perfect and beautiful. We decided it was time to try out the wagon, and also let Caleb ride his bicycle a little. The walk ended with a beautiful sunset as we were heading back up the hill to go back home. It was gorgeous~ God shows us beauty in simplicity.
