Sunday Surprise

FINALLY, we were all together this Sunday and were able to do some family photos of Roberts side of the family. With babies and all. Brandie, Roberts sister showed up at church this morning. A surprise to us all. A pleasant one at that! It was nice to see them and their new baby Wesley. Such a "little" girl! Here are a few pics that we took this morning!

Diaper Sauce....?!

Caleb told me something today that I just had to share with everyone that reads this. However, I know that if I happen to have this blog later on as he gets old enough to be embarrassed by his mothers actions. I know that he'll say "Mom! Why'd you write that about me!" Well, I don't care! I have to document the good, the bad and the embarrassing... ;)

He's had some really bad diarrhea the last couple of days and his bottom was really hurting him today and I noticed how red it was on the way home from Mi Mi and Papas house. I told him when we got home we'd get into our PJ's and I would put some diaper cream on his bottom to feel better.
When we got home, he said "OK Mama, I need my diaper sauce!" He cracks me up daily, and am constantly surprised as to what will come out of his mouth next! I will give him choice for his lunch during the week and if he agrees to it he'll tell me "That will be fine!" and when he doesn't agree he'll make the comment, "Um, I don't think that will work." Then, he'll crinkle his little nose and shake his head.

TOO Cute! Kids are great!

They're the size of GOLFBALLS!

So, We found out this week Caleb will have his tonsels out next month. We've kinda been waiting for this for about 1 1/2 years. They are literally the size of golf balls! Its hard for him to eat his food and sleep soundly at night. It will only be a day surgery and will be able to go home shortly after the procedure. Sarah will go for her 4 month visit next month along with Calebs Dentist Check-up. Busy Busy, as far as medical procedures are concerned. We'll keep you posted. Meanwhile, here are some pictures of my silly boy and beautiful little girl!

Diva~licious! Tastefully, Of Course!

Here are some new pictures of Sarah in her third month. I had no Idea I was going to have this much fun dressing up my little girl! Its addicting and fullfilling all at the same time. I guess its because I know that she's only this little once and before she tells ME what SHE'S going to wear, I'd better get this out of my system.

I remember when I was able to wear what I wanted and not what my mother wanted, things changed drastically.. Suddenly there were more t-shirts and jeans in my closet than dresses and bows. Now that I'm older, I do look forward to dressing up every now and then, but at least I can channel MOST of it through Sarah.

Yep, we have a new Slogan in our house. NO.BO.GO

No Bow, No Go. Meaning if there isn't a bow on her head, no one gets to leave the house until there is. :) WE kinda like it that way!

1/4 of a year old....

Can't believe my little girl is 3 months!

Achievements:

Recognizes people around her and across the room.
Smiles and coos at the people that she recognizes.
Holds her head up without assistance when shes on her belly
ALMOST total head control when shes sitting up.
She sleeps at night in 4-5 hour blocks.
And as everyone knows, she's eating like a CHAMP! Breastfed ONLY! Yay!
I'll post in Feb with her weight, but i'm guessing around 14-15 lbs..
