Random Bliss

This might have to go into the Guiness Book of World Records. As the oldest little boy to get dressed on his own. That's right. Caleb Picked out his clothes, (matching ones and all!) underwear, shoes and socks all by himself! AND dressed himself yesterday. We were so very proud. ....baby steps! That, and getting him to believe that HE CAN DO IT!

....and of course, I had to blog it!!!

Special Guest Blogger: Baby Wesley

This is Wesley, My Niece. She Turned 3 months this week. We love her very much and couldn't be happier to have her in our lives. Growing up faster than we'd like. Yet, growing more gorgeous everyday. I usually blog about my own children, but couldn't resist putting this cutie's picture up!
She's definitely not the one blogging, but she's definitely worth blogging about.

What a great birthday! Caleb had the best day! We celebrated on his birthday on Friday by going to the park, eating at McDonald's and Saturday he had his party, went bowling and then went for IceCream at BR.

Great times!

Je Suis Fini

As I had said in a previous post. I had purchased fabric to make a "project" for Sarah. Well I'm done now and my project was a baby blanket for her!

I was intentionally going to work on it all week this week but decided that since this week is spring break I wouldn't have time with Caleb not going to MDOut this week.

SOooo...I worked on it all afternoon after church yesterday. I didn't rush and even messed up once or twice because my tension was off on my sewing machine and I had the wrong thread for my topstitch. BUT, its done and I'm quite proud of it for being my first attempt at, well ANYTHING to do with sewing besides Hemming pants or patching robs jeans.

Today we celebrated a very special milestone. The eldest member of our church turned 100 years old today!! We were so excited the share this special and exciting day with Ms. Brooks. There a big party in her honor @ the church. Also, we were blessed to get a picture of the two together! I have a picture of Caleb when he was 6 weeks old (Easter of 05) with her holding Caleb. Now we're double blessed to have one of our Sarah.

New Toy

This Couldn't have come at a better time.

We had been promised a bumbo to try out thru the family, but it didn't pan out. So we just got one from another source that we could keep for ourselves. This is great, because it helps Sarah learn to sit well, as well as another great way to feed her. She's loving it and so is her brother who likes to wear it as a hat! LOL He Calls it a "He-met" (helmet)

Today Sarah is 5months 1 week. How time flies when you are basking in the Joy of Motherhood.
I can say that one is tough, but two are tougher....
