~Bed Bugs~
Sarah(19wks.)~Caleb(3 1/2)
This is how I found the kids on Tuesday morning.
I did not find Caleb perched in his usual spot, in front of the TV watching
Disney Channel, so I knew something was off.
Loe and behold he was playing with his sister in HER bed.
When I asked what he was doing, he replied to me, "I was just playing
with her! She needed me."
Gotta Love that Big Brother!
Happy Friday.

A Jungle for you...
...or Caleb that is...
Calebs MiMi brought back a "jungle of animals" from the San Diego Zoo. He got them the same night of the Rodeo.
When he got home he tore those suckers open with big dreams for those animals. I was doing some things around the house and was soon looking forward to sitting down after a long day.
When I went to sit on the couch, look what I came upon. The re-inaction of "Madagascar 2" on my living room couch...

Bravo! And what a performance it was..lol
Have a great night!

OK, so I'm counting down the days when Caleb is going back to the Dr. He will be cleared to eat regular foods on Friday if all goes well, and he's all healed up.
He's been so ready to eat regular foods since Sunday and I think I am too.
We've mostly stayed home these past two weeks and its been driving me into a massive "slump" of not wanting to do anything or go anywhere. Well, that all changed this morning. I was tired of sitting at home, so I packed up the kids and we headed to what other place than good ole' Walmart!
We didn't stay long. I just had to return a few things and get a few things that we forgot over the weekend. But just that little bit helped. Of Course, just that LITTLE bit tuckered our Sweet Little One. Look at her. Of course the last one is the one of her being woken up by her brother being loud..Its ok though, she's getting plenty of "beauty rest"! Wouldn't you say? Hope everyone had a fabulous Valentine's Day!

Patience is a Virtue..

Meanwhile...
Its the Sunday after Calebs Surgery. What a weird weekend this has been. I've never in my life said this one phrase so many times, "Caleb, drink something." Its so hard getting him to drink and sorry to say, swallow his spit. LOL. He holds it in so he doesn't have to swallow!
So far, he's not dehydrated, but I'm definitely worried about it.The day before his surgery, we took Caleb to his dentist. Thankfully no cavities. The nurses say he did great!
And Sarah to her 4 month checkup. She weighed 13lbs 5 oz and measured 23 3/4inches long.Goodnight to all. I pray you get more sleep than I know that I will.

8 Years. The Long, Wonderful Journey To How Far We've Come

If you didn't already know. Robert and I Celebrated our 8th Anniversary This week. We didn't get to do much. But knowing we've come so far, & that we are alot closer and stronger as a couple was worth any number of night-outs or dinners together. And it's only through the Lord and Our Diligence to Seek Him constantly did we feel we achieved this. We DID go out for lunch on Saturday without the kids. Though all we could really talk about was THEM. How much Sarah has grown and Calebs upcoming Tonsillectomy, etc. It WAS kinda quiet without having them hang out with us. They stayed @ Mimis and Papas. It sure has been a wild and crazy, yet fullfilling 8 years, SO FAR!
:) Oh, and did I mention BLESSED!

A little OffTopic: I was talking to Rob the other day about how the world thinks that you have to "do this or that" with your life to be a so-called "accomplished" or "well-rounded" person. i.e. Fancy Cars, Loads of Money,White Picket Fence, Cookie Cutter Life. Well, I asked myself. "What Have You Got To Show For Your Life?" My first and only true answer, was...My children. I have always wanted to be a mom. I knew I would be a darn good one at that..I had a good example, Mom *winks*! But...I felt that if I ever was the very best at something, then I feel like my kids are truly MY BEST Accomplishments. And if after I raise them, and they are Grown. Then I hope they rise up and call me blessed. Then, I have succeeded!
Also, Caleb will be having his Surgery sometime during the A.M. on Friday, Feb. 6. I'm trying to figure out how I'm going to entertain my almost 4 year old for two weeks with no outside playtime or MDO for that long. Who's up to taking a poll of who will go crazy/insane first?
I just ask for your prayers as I don't know what to expect from his recovery. Pray for the doctors and nurses that will operate and the healing process following.
Thanks, Hols
