If you didn't already know. Robert and I Celebrated our 8th Anniversary This week. We didn't get to do much. But knowing we've come so far, & that we are alot closer and stronger as a couple was worth any number of night-outs or dinners together. And it's only through the Lord and Our Diligence to Seek Him constantly did we feel we achieved this. We DID go out for lunch on Saturday without the kids. Though all we could really talk about was THEM. How much Sarah has grown and Calebs upcoming Tonsillectomy, etc. It WAS kinda quiet without having them hang out with us. They stayed @ Mimis and Papas. It sure has been a wild and crazy, yet fullfilling 8 years, SO FAR!
:) Oh, and did I mention BLESSED!

A little OffTopic: I was talking to Rob the other day about how the world thinks that you have to "do this or that" with your life to be a so-called "accomplished" or "well-rounded" person. i.e. Fancy Cars, Loads of Money,White Picket Fence, Cookie Cutter Life. Well, I asked myself. "What Have You Got To Show For Your Life?" My first and only true answer, was...My children. I have always wanted to be a mom. I knew I would be a darn good one at that..I had a good example, Mom *winks*! But...I felt that if I ever was the very best at something, then I feel like my kids are truly MY BEST Accomplishments. And if after I raise them, and they are Grown. Then I hope they rise up and call me blessed. Then, I have succeeded!
Also, Caleb will be having his Surgery sometime during the A.M. on Friday, Feb. 6. I'm trying to figure out how I'm going to entertain my almost 4 year old for two weeks with no outside playtime or MDO for that long. Who's up to taking a poll of who will go crazy/insane first?
I just ask for your prayers as I don't know what to expect from his recovery. Pray for the doctors and nurses that will operate and the healing process following.
Thanks, Hols
