Goin' Cultured

There is always something @ The Chicken Farm every 1st Saturday of the month. This long running event is held every month with artists, music from the acclaimed Chicken Pickers…which you can join by bringing your guitar and joining in…free clay for kids, Silo House Restaurant food, demonstrations and a large variety of family fun.


So, this weekend we decided to do something fun for the kids, and took them to play with some clay. We went along with our friends, The Hoods. We had so much fun. We saw some "crazy" stuff, some really cool art, people, and tasted some awesome jellies, (chow-chow), and goat cheese. :P

We all had a lot of fun relaxing and having a great time with each other.

  

Of course, the kids didn't want to leave. But of course, all fun must come to an end, and you could tell they were getting a little tired. Especially my two. :(


All clay that we made will have to be picked up in a month so that they can fire it for the kids. It was hard for all of them to leave it there, but they will enjoy the finished project that much more. Here are a few of their masterpieces.
